DEDICATION:

"The most potent of all indirect influences in the development of our citizenry is the influence of a good teacher," said one philosopher.  This quote aptly describes the life and work of Miss Helen Thompson, one of Tech's most dedicated faculty members.  She is both a superior instructor in her field of cosmetology and also a warm friend and understanding counselor to the young people she guides in class, homeroom, and V.I.C.A.  She inspires ambition and self-respect through her personal example.  After school hours she serves the greater community in church work and duties as a District Chief of Auxiliary Probation Officer for the Juvenile Court.  Truly, she is one who cares for others.  With appreciation and affection the 1971-72 Review staff dedicates this yearbook to Miss Helen Thompson.
