WILLIAM THOMAS “Bill” COCHRAN, 78, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Bill was born on January 12, 1932 in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1950 where he participated in football, baseball, and basketball. Bill was general manager of Mid South Cotton Growers Association for 29 years and retired from Security Fire Protection in 2001. He leaves his wife of 58 years Florine Jordan Cochran; a sister, Norma Stinson (Roy) of Paris, TN; four children, Vicky Roper of Southaven, MS; Rose Ann McNiell (Bob) of Olive Branch, MS; Tom Cochran (Julie) of Germantown, TN; and Rusty Cochran (Michele) of Collierville, TN. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Visitation is at 11:00 and services at 1:00 on Friday, October 15, 2010
