RUBY NEAL TURNER SHOOK, 76, of Memphis, passed away August 28, 2007. She was retired from U.T. Medical Newborn Center, and a graduate of Tech High School. Ruby was preceded in death by two husbands Fred A. Turner Jr. and Raymond Shook; her mother, Esther F. Novarese; and one son Fred A. Turner III. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Turner Yoakum, Sarah Jane Turner Hopkins, and Lori Turner West; one sister, Linda Novarese Brazzell; five grandchildren, Brett Yoakum, Suzanne Adgar, Robert Hopkins Jr. Valerie Hopkins and Billy West Jr.; as well as three great-grandchildren Tyler Yoakum, Samuel Adgar, and John Adgar; and one Aunt Sarah Jane Rolfe. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Family Funeral Care on Summer with a visitation on Friday Evening from 5-8 p.m. Any donations may be sent to the Cynthia Milk Fund or the Memphis Humane Society.
