1.
You or someone with
knowledge of how to use a scanner will scan your yearbook page by
page.
2. Scan one page (as a test scan) as large as possible and
SAVE AS a JPEG*
file. DO NOT EDIT IT.
3. Send the test scan by email attachment to <gene.gill@verizon.net
>. Be available for my reply
email.
4. If the test scan is not good, you may be given suggestions
on how to improve it so you can try again.
5. If the test scan is good, you'll be asked to begin scanning
the yearbook - page by page.
6. From the time you're given the OK, you
can only take up to ONE WEEK to
complete all your scans - roughly 13-15 pages per day. If you
don't complete your scans in one week, then unfortunately, your yearbook will not
be posted on the website. I hope you can appreciate that this
restriction is necessary, especially if all Tech classes should take
me up on this offer at the same time. Please remember: You're not
the only one! And my time is as limited as yours.
7. Send the scans to me as email attachments - roughly 6 per
email <gene.gill@verizon.net>.
8. OR...burn the files to a CD and mail to: Gene
